> HP W5195-

Yeah HP are a reasonably good brand, but you may find that the upgradability is limited buying a branded machine. If you're reasonably confident I'd build your own with off-the-shelf parts.

> Prosessor: Amd Athlon 64 X2 4200+(dualcore)

Very nice CPU, and newer games might even take advantage of the two cores.

> Minne: 2gb DDR2-SDRam

Yes 2GB is good.

> Harddisk: 250gb S-ATA (7200rpm)

Yep.

> CD/DVD: DVD+/-RW 16x DualLayer + DVD 16x

Pretty standard, yep.

> Grafikk: Nvidia GeForce6800 256mb DVI

A good card, but a generation behind. Can you get a GeForce 7-based card?

> Tilkobling: nettverk,trådløst lan a/b/g

Have no idea what Tilkobling is. Is it like bling as in rapper jewelry? All pretty standard stuff but I'm not sure what a 9i1 kortlese is.

> Annet: 7.1 lydkort,TV-og radiotuner med

Bleh. 7.1 surround sound? TV/radio tuner? Personally, I'm not sure whether I'd go for a TV card built in - and make sure it's a digital tuner not an analogue tuner for future proofing. Dunno what trådløst tastatur/mus is.

> Programvare: Windows XP Home Edition,

XP Home is nasty, I'd try to get XP Pro if you can (but don't spend much more on it). Works 8.0 is absolutely pointless - you can get the more fully featured OpenOffice.org suite for free which is just as Microsoft Office compatible. WinDVD is likewise crap - try and get PowerDVD. RecordNOW - never heard of it, and whatever you do don't install iTunes if it doesn't come pre-installed. These software packages tend to be bundled "free" but if you can opt out of it except for the DVD player and the operating system and get some money back I'd go for it.

> 1 st. 160gb ekstern harddisk medfølger.

Eh? Don't you have a 250GB SATA hard drive? Dunno what a ekstern harddisk medfølger is.

Thx for the advices Smile

I'm sure it would be better to build one, but I'm pretty sure I would have messed up big time.. So I guess I have to buy a package..

I'll check out the graphic card though Smile

The GeForce 6800 would kick the ass of a Radeon 9800 Pro. How much would depend on whether it's a 6800 or a 6800 GT/Ultra. The Radeon isn't a DirectX 9 card for a start.

In that case get a GeForce 6600GT which is a similar price to the 9800 Pro (around £100 now), slightly better performance and is a DirectX 9 card to boot. I have one and it is definitely the best bang-for-your-buck at the moment.
