What I can't understand is why they need TWO films to tell that story...

Yep, he will be the producer. Director isnt decided yet. Maybe it will be PJ, maybe it wont. No matter what, it will be his production.

Yeah...can't even imagine how one could take on a task like that. But would I have paid good money to see it...hell yeah Laughing

I'm sure I will enjoy the Hobbit when it is released.
