Good morning ladies & gentlemen!
Figured I'd start a nice little active thread for all of us to use on a daily pie basis. Post your feelings, adventures, fix the pics, new interests, gaming developments, hobbies or the things you run over with your car every morning or heck just tell us your deepest love for our beloved and holy pie.
Currently i'm not playing any online game Wish I could but the lack of time tells me otherwise much to my regret. But additionally I can't really seem to find a MMORPG which tickles my wild fantasy. (and believe me...its wild!! *neckid Mc coming through!!*)
I do have a new game for the Wii tho, Boom Blocks, a big thumbs up! Nice and casual gameplay, especially when playing against somebody else.
Didn't run anything over this morning, as far as I know, might want to check the grill of my car later on. I'll keep ya posted
But enough of my rambling.....work work work.....

Howdy ho Mc! Im disapointed. Very disapointed. Not on you bro but on the gaming industry. They keep pushing games close to utter crap; PotBS, HGL, TB and AoC. All with great potential wich I was eager to try. They all failed in my book. Miserably.
I even went back to SWG (last fall) and took up Vanguard (winter) again. I really need/want a new game to loose myself in. Will it be WAR? Will it be the secret mmo by Bioware/Lucas Arts? We'll see. For now Im back in WoW, leveling both old alts as well as new toons. Its rather fun again tbh. The one thing you cant take away from WoW/Blizzard is the polish and the smoothness of the game. I just wish other games could get close to this level of achivement. It seems they cant.
Rant over.

Have to agree with Gloomy there, so far, no other game I've played have come close to the smoothness of WoW..
I've been away for a while.. Got the impression that this is a current trend among many clowns..?
I might be moving again soon, gonna look at an apartment today, as I'm not very happy with the one I've got now. =P
Also going on a short holiday to Amsterdam this summer, any tips on what to see and what to avoid? =)
Cheers =)

I think you hit the nail right on the head with that one. Alot of people are probably messing about with their PS3's or XBOX360's or even Wii's

Thats something I totally have to agree with aswell. Seems that the gaming industry is just moving in for a small charge on a nice profit. Whilst most of the titles were very promising! I'm keen as mustard to dive into something which proves to be worth while again.
I say give us the new and improved Ultima Online! Same background, just a totally new engine and I'd be happy! Good PK'ing, nice dungeon thrills, building of towns or houses. Various skills to gain and lose and most of all no set races. Just the human one in a midevil world. Now thats one heck of a pie!
I previously had my eyes on Conan, but reading several reviews it seems that its not the full delicious cooky they'd like to make us believe.
But how many people are still active in WoW these days? All this WoW'ing makes me itch to WoW along with em
(oh I checked the grill of my car, believe it was just a small Pagor'ish creature I ran over this morning)

For me it's WoW, WoW, WoW and it will remain like that for quite some time I guess. I can't imagine restarting something new in another MMORPGto be honest. The day WoW dies will be the day I retire from online RPGs (at least the leveling ones).
PS:Gloom, yell when you're online. It's so rare to see CLOWNs in there now
And soon, new expansion... Let's level those toons to 80... Till they increase cap to 90... Then 100... Pfff

Mm..its the only way they'll keep the customers - until a new mmorpg comes out that gives us housing/cities and thus superior social aspects once again. We can only hope.

Mornin all!
*yawns heavily and tries to do a thing called "work"....whatever that might be*
Anyone here following the football matches??? I'm looking forward to see how the Swedisch will do against the Russians. It'll be a killing match, or atleast I hope it will.
Then we might have a nice quarter final between us Dutch guys vs. the Swedisch guys
----
A different question: which new MMORPG titles are expected this year?

Mornin' Loonies
Nice to see people alive and kicking, Hope you are all well
I'm still playing wow, moved all but one toon to Doomhammer server my main is now a Level 70 Rogue (Mr G how much fun is playing Rogue?).
Moved to Doomhammer mainly got fed up with PvP was never very good at it so was fed up paying to look at a grey screen for most of the time. Non PvP server makes it a whole different game quested STV in a few days rather than a few weeks.
Still learning the Rogue class so that also makes the game interesting even after all this time.
My SWG account is inactive at the mo but will be back on it in a couple of weeks.
Thought about Conan but not heard to much positive about it so I decided to save my money.
Keep Save Loonies

Currently in AoC and loving it, waiting to see how the new PvP system works if it's crap then I will be moving back to DAoC to the OF server they are releasing in September, apart from that not much else going on, my gaming time of old is gone and very limited so I enjoy the new stuff as much as I can for now :/

Hey, I'm very patient with games. Currently I'm fine with the situation not playing MMORPG's because I'm leveling my
BARD SKILLZ:
violin 88,0
piano 23,0
musicianship 95,0
composition 89,0
Soon I'll BE GRANDMASTER BARD. Zeddicus shall rule again :D.
Not interested in AoC, I didn't feel the spark seeing and reading the information about it.
I felt it with UO, CS, and WoW. Waiting...

Morning loons!
How about them Russians ey......I had hoped that the Swedisch would win tho!! Would have been a great match between us and them.
I was wandering, who here also has a Wii?? And if so, whats your "wii friend code" on the console? I need to configure mine still, but it would be fun to add clownish friends to! There are several games out there which can be played over the net.
So what are you waiting for, gimme your Wii friend code!
Oh and what kind of games do we all play on the wii?
Sofar i'm enjoying myself with Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf & Boom Blocks. But i'm thinking of maybe buying mario kart, multiplayer seems to be a real bash!
Enough from me...back to work once more! Anyone got a strong mug of coffee for me? *yawns heavily, eyes still in twilight mode*

Oh and goodmorning all!
Its nice to see everybody posting here!
How are we all faring today, everybody drove safely to work (or stayed at home due to excesive gaming or alcohol?) once more? Good thing its almost weekend....time for some good old ale and some rest & relaxation.
From the looks of things it seems like some of us are growing up, to busy to play games anymore who would have figured that....us 'growing' up! Probably just a fling
This WoW stuff is starting to itch a bit over here......is our guild still active on Skullcrusher or has everybody moved to different servers? (seen PVE for Morri & Slin) How about the rest of ya?
Cheers!

We have the day off in Sweden - to celebrate "midsummer". Remember that old youtube video where drunk Swedes dressed up in old traditional clothes sang and danced around a strange looking pole covered in flowers? That is what we do today/tonight
Found it! Thnx Corny. Sweedish Party
Hi All
Nice idea for a thread Mc, get people chatting here again
As Morri said we're still playing WoW. I'm looking forward to Starcraft 2 and also to blizz's rumoured new Diablo game. It's a safe bet that'll be good whether it's single player or an MMORPG

Heya folks!!
How are we all doing today on this, well atleast in Holland, cloudy day?
Slin bro! great to see you here again, figured that you're little scheme of World Domination with Morri and the kids had took all your time away
I've never played Starcraft before actually, yes I know...i'm terrible. But a Starcraft 2 might be MMORPG ya think? Do keep us posted with these infamous rumours i'd say
Do you and Morri have a Wii by the way? (or anybody else for that matter?)
On topic:
And again I ran over a Pagor'ish creature today....whats up with this invasion? I had my windscreenwhipers on full to get all the stains away....

Hi Mc
We don't have a Wii currently, buy plan to get one!
Gloom is correct.. Blizz are planning something, but he forgot one option:
World of Lost Vikings!
Or maybe not, hehe..
Whatever it is, i'm sure it'll be up to their usual high standard - and that I'll want to play it

I've been reading a lot of opinions on the Blizzard stuff.
There's been three slightly different splash screens on the blizzard main site in the last few days.
The first had a rune the *could* be one of the runes from Frostmaune...
The second added a rune that is very very like the Hel rune from Diablo 2...
The third added a rune that is like the Protos symbol..
The order of these is the order the 'worlds' were introduced: Warcraft, then Diablo, then Starcraft
The most common opinion is that Blizzard will be launching an entirely new world, but something I've not seen anyone suggest is that they may be making an announcement about each of the existing ones.
Possibly a launch date for WOTLK, a launch date for Starcraft 2.. and news of Diablo 3?
Will be interesting to see the splash screen tomorrow

Looks like a fun game, might try it out. I did get the Wii Fit, but it failed me after two weeks. Hehe
Got lots of games for the 360 atm. Found out that I could flash it and tata, I'm downloading games 24/7

Ah, looking forward to Starcraft2. Would love to play some multiplayer games together on that one.
I did just pay for a month for AoC now. I joined up with the exalted on a RP-PvP server.
The game is OK imo, not good. Hopefully the pvp patch will add more life to the game. Making everything have lots of instances, removes the massive feeling.
Then we got WAR. I got wet dirty dreams that CLOWNs will be back with an active guild there. The game got flaws for sure, but hopefully they fix it up for release.
I just love that you can sign up to Scenarios(Battlegrouds) at lvl 1 and level up from PvP play.
Guilds also gains levels as players PvP, giving the guild new stuff.
The guild can run around with banners in pvp giving bonuses and adding more tactic to the game.
Wondering a little how the side balance will be. There is always more players on the destruction side. Normal ratio is 400 destruction and about 150 order.
I stop rambling about my war dreams now

I haven't played the WAR beta now for quite some time, may have to check in on it again.. When I last played the general concept of things was great and PVP (or actually RVR) seems to be a huge part of the game compared to other games, especially as you can actually go from lvl 1 to the level cap and more or less only do RVR.. Guilds are also meant to play an integral part of the game, which is great. But as I was beginning to say, when I last played, there were so many buggy things that kept ticking me off.. But hey, it's beta. All of those things had with balance, polish and interface to do.. Logged in yesterday, and the game is looking a lot better now graphically at least =)
Concerning sides.. I believe that the population will change in real game vs beta.. A lot of "hardcore" and enhusiast players that are in the beta will definitely go "bad" while most kiddies buying the game will go "good". That's my guess at least.. Kinda like WoW.. Alliance sucks monkeyb*lls. No offense.
Well.. My ramble comes to an end here to. Time to get back to work.
Take care out there Clowns.

Mornin everyone!
How are we all doing today? Its almost weekend, thank god. I'm in dire need of some good R&R.

Exactly, and great to see ya here Lorm, how ya doin bro?

I haven't played the WAR beta now for quite some time, may have to check in on it again.. When I last played the general concept of things was great and PVP (or actually RVR) seems to be a huge part of the game compared to other games. |
The PVP system of WAR does seem to be an ideal one. It looks promising sofar, but when I look at the graphics it appears to me that its all a bit "rough on the edges"? It doesn't realy feel very polished, but that might just be a bad impression that I'm experiencing now.

No offense. |
But on the other side its always fun to be the so called 'under-dog' in a game like this. Chosing the side with the least amount of players is something I can life from
How many CLOWN's are testing the game out now by the way? Would love to see more personal input on game mechanics and general judgement.
Well thats it...time for work work work.... *sobs*

I was being unclear on this one... I meant that the balance will change when the game is released and thus making the sides more equal and probably even the "good" side more numerous. But that's just a guess.
The graphics have definitely been bad and still not great, but this has probably to do with beta. I think it's safe to say that the game is going to get a lot more attention from the graphics guys the closer to launch we get...

Not 100% sure about this, but from what I understand. The gfx in the beta is not running on high.
I also like the idea about the "under-dog" side. And of course I love dwarfs

Morning loons!
Hope everyone here had a good weekend? I know I did, enjoyed some good rest & recreation.

Possibly a launch date for WOTLK, a launch date for Starcraft 2.. and news of Diablo 3?
Will be interesting to see the splash screen tomorrow |
You hit the nail on the head there Slin! Now we've got 3 things to look out for in the 'near future'! On one hand its very slightly dissapointing, I had eagerly hoped they might have introduced a new MMORPG title...but alas.
Not that these 3 titles are bad of course
But still one can wish, can't he?
Now I command thee all to work and give thy pies to me!

I'm just about to get into Warcraft 3 multiplayer again. Ordered the Frozen Throne expansion (£7 delivered from Play.com!) and might have a go through the single player levels as well as on Battle.Net. I suck at RTS games though - can beat computer players ok, but PvP makes me cry
Up til now I've been playing Freelancer again and Transport Tycoon Deluxe (until I realised the latter is even more grindy than WoW, and the former is a little formulaic).
I'd like to play another MMORPG but I concede I probably don't have the time. Would like to dedicate one night a week to gaming though - either CS: Source, Team Fortress 2, Warcraft 3 or whatever. Probably looking like Thursdays at the moment.

you guys say u need something new and exciting!!!
How about something old and amazing??
Lineage 2 - IMO still the best MMORPG on the market (sorry to you wow fans) but from screensshots i've seen + game play on both L2 has so much more to offer the fun never ends its not like u hit max lvl and then game over. you start over subclass im sure some of u know this form playing!!
But seriously wether u play retail or on a private server this is a truely amazing game!!
Jst my 2 cents.

Mornin everybody!
How are we all faring today? Its been a couple of busy weeks on the work...especially with all the people on holiday now.. *grrrrr, shakes fist in a certain manner*
But on the bright side I get to go to Stavanger, Norway next week for my work. And I was of course wandering if any CLOWN might live in the neighbourhood? Just for an ale or two...
So where has everybody gone to on their holidays?
Cheers!

Hey all
Kids break up from school next week and will be home for 6 weeks
I have plenty of odd jobs for them to do to keep them busy
We've got an ultrasound scan next week, hoping to find out if this one is a boy or a girl.
I hope you are all ok and enjoying yourselves
Take care.

Long time no see...
At work, 'enjoying' another effing monday punching insurance documents... but only for a while, as I will rejoin the other lingual-/litterary geeks in a month. Gots to have an education y'all (or U will say stuff like 'gots' and 'y'all').
Cats are good, divorce was final some months ago and reading 'The deathly Hallows' atm. Dayum! Exiting stuff
Andy (known formally as 'Vandemar' or 'Lightrunner' to those who do not need to state his name and social security number for bank stuff and tax stuff )and I are coexisting with bliss, flowers, butterflies, flutes and trombones and other gooey lovey dovey stuff. Very happy together, and better people apart for having found one another (U may barf).
We'll be going on a lil drive to the north of France this summer, to eat cheese, oysters and drink calvados, then going to visit the hooligans in the UK, see George Michael in Earls Court London and then back home again to be very serious at work and at school.
Great initiative BJ (heehee!) and great reading up on all of U. Have a magnificent summer all!

Will probably get some trouble makers setting cars and bins on fire, do they not realise i have telly to watch at work
Got to do a lecture now on Hazardous Substances, Yay
Wish could play games on this computer, would be able to join you all for the night.

Geez you all lead such exciting lives. My excistence in this new real life place seems dull. Unless of course you all can ahndle 16 chickens (icluding a rooster) 6 rabbits, a dog. Living now next to horse farm and cow farm hehe Actually for us it is bliss! The country life is great! I don't miss much about our old place. This old hosue we live in is almost as old as our lasthouse but this one is for sure more of a farmhouse. I actually have an upstairs now LOL Got more land here and less neighbors.
We are still plugging away in SWG and can't find anything new we like nor see anything in the future that looks worth playing. Miss the old days of UO and miss nights where there was no sleep. Now we is old and do sleep everynight. Little Cleo is no longer little and plays SWG with us now. (Better then us sometimes.)
Well bedtime is coming upon us now and I need to get up early to take care of the farm and I want to can some jam and pickles tomoro. Eventaully I when it cools down I want to paint the inside of this place and finish some rooms
Take care CLOWNs and keep on laughing.

Well everybody seems to be keeping themselves busy enough here. With our two last infamous guests: the fire dealing bandit and our beloved Farm CLOWN
Great to see the both of you here, alive and posting!
I'm still busy in Stavanger, Norway.....working onboard one of our vessels at the moment. Everybody sure we don't have a CLOWN delegate living here??? I could use some beer....as the policy onboard here is 0%.
Well time to do some more stuff, hang tight folks! And go eat some very delicious pies, god bless the pies!

How anoying, we have the same policy also, isn't that just so so mean, no ale at all.
However in the old days they use to have bars on every station, we still have our's here at Wigan but out of service

I wish I had been CLOWNed!! Can't we somehow consider everything I did in CLOWN my clowning LOL I mean it sure wasn't easy being hated as much as I was by a chosen few. ( I wont mention names) And think about who I spent alot of my time with in CLOWN *evilgrin* that in itself should be an exceptable clowning LOL Honestly those were the best days I have ever had in gaming. I can't forget the people (Well maybe a chosen few) And of course how can I ever forget Plague letting me have a safe house in his CT house ROFL
I kinda like the ring to "the infamous beloved farm CLOWN" it has just fits so well LOL
I think I should write a book about my CLOWN days. No I better not! half of it might get censored LOL
But really my dear CLOWNs I miss each and everyone of you. It's weird but no matter where I go or end up there is no place like CLOWN. Maybe that is why I stay on chimera in SWG it keeps memories alive
Enough of my sentimental moments LOL
*hugs*

You where always a CLOWN to me Cleo, everything about you was CLOWN, i never saw it any other way, and you where as safe as houses in my CT house, was a haven for all.
Your right about no matter where you go there is no place like CLOWN, i think about all the fun i had in CLOWN many times and some of the old war and hunt stories.
I miss the old days of CLOWN, back in early UO. Great we have boards like this where we can still all keep intouch and remain great friends even after so many years. About 10 years now i've been in CLOWN, WOW.
You where always a CLOWN to me Cleo, everything about you was CLOWN, i never saw it any other way,
I will take this as a good thing. That you mean I was CLOWN and not "a clown"
I always died with a smile and alot of 4 letter words LOL and even a few swedish ones here and there Good thing for nightmares and good friends otherwise I would have been dead more than I was. The people are pretty much etched in my mind forever, however good or bad they were/are. The only problem I have now is remembering to speak german and not swedish LOL When your american you can get those words all screwed up if you don't use them daily
No other guild comes close to CLOWN. Maybe that is why I have never joined another LOL The people don't come close either. CLOWN are a unique breed. Although Affie I have to admit isn't all that unique after playing SWG for awhile now. He seems tame
Well I am a sentimental old fool. I still love you all and some more then others
I still hate that you could hide in a house in UO GRRR Having to cast a spell before you spoke so as not to incriminate yourself LOL Here in SWG you just incriminate yourself and plead insanity after you get caught ROFLMAO
Take care all and remember to keep your sheilds up and potions by your side. In my case its keep my pistol handy and my skirt nailed to the floor. *grin*
