I AGREE WITH ADENAS AND GLOOM.

I saw the post too since Im a forum lurker lol...

I think "everything is allowed" still doesn't work in HUMAN SOCIETIES.
That mentality causes bloodshed, wars, mafia, vandettas, blackmail, human misery, depression and suicidal behaviour.

And btw, I have profanity filter in WoW too :D...so you know my opinion about these things. Smile

Altough I haven't complained about any of these things to anybody, regardless of game or RL.

There are many reasons people don't want "bad behaviour" in places they visit.
Would you like if your favourite bar turned into gay bar and everyone saw where you are going? Some might not find it disturbing but most WOULD.
(EDIT: THAT WAS AN EXAGGERATED EXAMPLE...so even Woodhead gets it ;))

it has been done before Ade.. And this post is not about whether it was wrong or right to post a pm guys..

You agree that censorship is bad and still you do it? Makes no sense imo..

You are all the time here talking about how you personally believe I, or others, would react to posts written. Then you go ahead and think that "Nope! That thing is not good for Wood to read! I'll delete it!" Well, let us write, react and judge the way we want and choose to.

Deleting of posts should only be done when there is direct threats towards a person. I guess Mags posted it because he ment it would be interesting for the community to see how he is treated by another clown for voicing his opinions here on the board. If he posted the pm or told it in the forums in his own words makes no difference to me. Let him, no laws forbid that.

But fine by me, judge saevar for what he wrote and mags for posting a pm. I don't care.

And I can honestly not understand the backup you get here on the forums for deleting it though. So it's probably just me.. on my own personal vendetta..

But I will not be bothered wasting any more time on this. I just notice it, don't like it, and move on.

I must say I agree with Lord Finnish here, even tho I never manged to understand why the word 'uusi' means 'new' in his language.

Freedom of speech is VERY important in our world (take it from someone from the country of the Muhammed-drawings), BUT never without diplomacy. We're all people and should be able to co-exist, without constantly pointing at self righteous (spelling?) acts, that are really designed to protect people from dictatorships and supression.

JUST BE NICE! And if Ure not nice, say Ure sorry and move on! And if U post a pm (didn't see it myself), even if to defend Urself, expect to look like a meanie, and be glad the moderators have Urs and everyone else's back.

Update: Have removed the word filter as Paggy and Affie refuse to play along with my fascist censorship regime Smile

There are other options for those that want bad words filtered.

Sorry that people dissed Ur idea Ade...

I think people should be able to speak to eachother in a proper tone and without profane words, but I guess that U get easily influenced by the wow-lingo, thought up by angry 16-year-olds...

All forums have moderators who supervise the general tone. This really shouldn't be a problem with an adult (yes, Mini, I consider U a grown up too Heart

) population...

Oh well.
