Night temp rarely drops below 15 (usually close to 20) in aug.

Well, theres always the canals. I wouldnt recommend swimming in those though. Then theres the big river (wich divides the city in half) but I guess thats out of the question too. The ocean is rather close, but not for a midnight swim Im afraid (depending on where you stay ofc) Sad

On the other hand. Imagine the headlines: "A party of 20 people, all wearing clown noses, decided to take a midnight swim in the canals" Mr. Green

Either the one Nexus suggests or you could try ENIRO. Unfortunatly its in Swedish but I think its easy enough to navigate. Really good airal views. High detail. Heres a quick look of the details Göteborg map image Just hit the "flygfoto" or "hybrid" for dif levels of detail.
