Web host say there haven't been any reported problems and they checked the site and it seemed OK to them. This is after I switched it to the other DB server...

Ah well. If it happens again they said to get in touch with the approximate times and they'll review the logs. They're slower to respond than normal as they say they're getting a lot of calls.

Still it's much faster now; perhaps they had a problem which the helpdesk didn't know about.

Will implement the last few remaining features tonight and then it's merely waiting for Lord Affie to get in touch so we can discuss whether

a) To host it here or on the old servers.
b) Where to direct both domains.

He said hed do something about it tonight. Suspecting I might have to yell some more tomorrow though. .)
