Thoughts;

Ok, first one completely random but here goes: now that we have the actual CLOWN picture there, do we want to remove it from the title below the name? So that it just says The Elder and The Fool and then the picture fills in the CLOWN part? As I said completely random and useless but might be neat, I dunno.

Second; the Events thing. How about trying to splash that high and center on the front page so that whenever people come to visit the site they go 'oh right, that thing, gotta remember to show up for that' etc.? Seems kinda hidden down there in the corner currently.

Actually maybe a better spot for the events thing would be high left above the Main Menu, kinda where the quotes were on the old page. That would make them easily noticeble without cluttering up the news on the front page and making them visible on all sections on the site. But I guess this would also depend on how big it will be when there are lots of events in it instead of just showing up empty as it is now...

Lithic, I had the same idea about the CLOWn rank. I say its a neat idea

I also agree on the "clownish word" and "event" box. I'll move em around later today. Check back later to test it.

Yeah like the CLOWN rank thing but it looks a bit weird if you hover your mouse over the CLOWN image. I'm "The Fool"! Yes I am...

Couple more things to do with the site but they can be done when it's live just as easily.

1) Random pic. Personally I think it's probably a bit pointless, especially if the pics section isn't used loads and loads.
2) The CSS in the three themes needs minor tweaking but nothing major.
3) I need to get off my ass and write the sticky posts which have placeholders!

Bugs:

1) The shoutbox has a known bug where unregistered users can't post. Apparantly this has been fixed but the developer hasn't applied the fix for some reason. Very odd. I'll update in time but until then it's registered users only I'm afraid.

What about a RAID forum in the WoW section? Such a forum would start with a sticky post stating any sign-up rules/code of conduct/pie-recipe. Every raid should have a specific thread, with date/time/instance in the header. People reply in the thread should they desire to be part of that raid. Once a specific thread is created the one responsible would add the event to the calendar and in the description link to the thread. Voilá!

Past raids we could add a link to the piepoints system when it's complete. I've only done some basic config to EQDKP but it seems to work OK.

While we're on the subject of forums - are UO, EQ2 and SWG sufficiently well used to have their own sections or shall we move some/all to the Other Games bit?

Moved the clownish words box top right. The latest post box could be set to display the latest 8(?) posts instead of 10 in the case we belive other boxes end up too far below?

As long as we have CLOWNs playing a game Id say its only fair to have the forums displayed up front. In the three cases listed there are. Games no longer inhabited of a single clown could be moved to other games? In any case it looks rather neet for visitors with a few dif game forums

About the Events thingy, I can already see there being confusions and what not as to the time displayed in the start/end and peoples timezones. Is there anyway to have it modify the time based on peoples timezone settings on thier account? Otherwise I guess we'll have to write the timezone in each event...

Solution would be to not have the time in the title? And instead have the time in the description, ie 20.00 server time?

I can't modify the calendar mod to that extent because if they upgrade it i'll have to add my changes again. The solution I guess would be to ignore the time field and put it in the description, mentioning server time as suggested by Gloom.
