Just one question - this event begins on Friday 19th yeah? When does it end? Should I fly out on Friday and go back home on Sunday sometime?

What do y'all think? We need ideas.

I say:

Friday, meet and greet. Lunch for those who come early, dinner out later, followed by beers and fun.

Saturday: Totally open.

Sunday: Quiet hang out, saying proper goodbyes. Maybe someone wants to see stuff? Maybe not?

Please, make suggestions.

Well not from the very beginning, we were trying to figure out which date was best for most of the crazed bafoons and we came up with this one.

Seems most are able to travel during that time. Will you be comming?

well I'm busy the weekends either side of this one doing conferences so in theory I am free.
The tricky part is persuading Rach that me being away from home three weekends in a row is an entirely acceptable idea not to mention the fact that one of them will be spent out of the country at probably a considerable cost.

Putting it bluntly I think I'd rather run naked through IF shouting last one into MC is an Undead Troll.

One idea I did have was re-kindling the idea of a Nordic raiding party... say 2-3 burly Vikings with the appropriate horned headgear.... it would probably take me... oh 2-3 days to escape capture and make it back home Very Happy
