I was impressed

with Gothenburg. The only big city I have seen so far is Stockholm several times and I really dont like it. Too closed in for me. When we got to Gothenburg, (we rode the sj2000 1st class) I was very impressed with the train station. It reminded me of the big american airports. When we walked out the first thing I noticed was the big wide streets and everything was so open. Made it to the big shopping mall there, again reminded me of the big malls in the states. The we went down to Hard Rock Cafe to have lunch and some beers. We where there this past wkend for the stones concert so there was alot of excitement in the air. People everywhere. After this we walked to our hotel (The Elite) and checked in and took a break for a couple hours, then it was off to the stadium for the concert.
Even though the concert got some bad reviews we had a great time and I thought it was awesome.
The next day a bit more site seeing before we headed back home. I had a bit of a hangover too Twisted Evil

People in Gothenburg are very nice and friendly as well.
5 stars from me and we will def be coming back for a weekend sometime so I can see more things there.

Yes it was cloudy all the way down from Nyköping until we got right outside Gothenburg. Then the sun came out. It wasnt too hot this weekend either. Actually at the concert it was cold and you had to wear a jacket.
